We have chosen the most beautiful hotel - the Riz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, in the town of Truckee - not far from the ski resort Northstar-at-Tahoe. We were enchanted with the sight of the location of the hotel. It was located on the hill and through the windows of our room we could see the skiers rushing down through the clean snow. The hotel includes all modern facilities and conveniences - spa treatment, sauna, Jacuzzi, and massages of all kinds. The halls are spacious and trimmed and decorated with natural stones and wood. And besides we were provided with wireless Internet.

We were placed on the second floor with the windows facing the hills covered with sparkling snow. Everything is thoughtful and helpful in the Riz-Carlton discount. I guess each hotel in California is nice and designed to please all the visitors who are planning to stay in one of them. However, this hotel is designed to please everyone's taste.

At night we visited the hotel restaurant and were truly surprised with the abundance of food and drinks in it. We ordered lobster with a wonderful type of California wine and had a marvelous time together - the whole family - generally that rarely happened. The waiters were very polite and thoughtful - they seemed to love all of us. It was fun.

In the morning we went off skiing - it was easy to do because we could take skies just in the same building and in addition we managed to grab a ski board for our six years grandchild Johnny. Everybody was excited and happy to found oneself on the top of the hill. We stood on the top of the mountain and silently admired the beautiful nature.
