My son is truly a traveler by nature. Each time when we gather together with his family, he suggests a new route in order to see new places, meet new people and get recharged. This time he plans to have a trip to Lake Tahoe that is in north California. From San Diego we have to flight to San Francisco and then rent a car discount and go off to Tahoe-City.

Lake Tahoe is the second deepest lake in the USA with fresh water. The lake is refilled with water resources of snowy mountains in the Sierra Nevada ridge. It is formed as a result of the rift of earth - it has occupied the area between two mountains Sierra Nevada on the west and Carson on the east. Today it is a picturesque sanctuary that attracts majority of people from all over the world who come here to admire its miraculous beauties. There are lots of big and small rivers flowing into the lake and only one that is going out of the lake - the Truckee River. There are lots of hotels around the lake where one can get a discount to settle in.

Tahoe Lake boasts rich mixed pine forests - one can find lots of different types of pines here. Walking along the trails we were breathing fresh air filled with the fragrance of fur-needles everywhere. It is hard to describe all the beauties of this place - everything around us was like a miracle. We are happy to have such a spot in our native state California. By the way, all the hotels are located not far from the lake, so everyone can drive or walk here to enjoy their time.
